Annie is an incredibly thorough and reliable professional who is a true joy to work with. She consistently looks for efficiencies, manages pressure with ease, and takes extra care to ensure every task is completed to the highest standard.

Annie not only made many of our jobs easier but also elevated the team with her thoughtfulness, consideration, and openness to learning from senior staff. Her contributions were deeply valued, and it was difficult to see her go. Any team would be fortunate to have Annie—she is without a doubt an asset wherever she works.

Instructor

I am pleased to recommend Annie Yan, who was my student in the Payroll course. Throughout the course, Annie consistently demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of payroll principles, compliance requirements, and processing practices. She completed her assignments with accuracy and professionalism, often going beyond expectations to ensure her work was thorough and well-presented.

Annie is diligent, organized, and highly motivated to succeed in the payroll field. She communicates effectively, works well in collaborative settings, and shows initiative in applying her knowledge to practical scenarios. I am confident she will be a valuable addition to any payroll team.

Annie is very bright and knowledgeable in many areas, she’s proficient in several programs, knows shortcuts, and many formulas for Excel. Annie is a gem of a person, willing to stay late (if possible) to finish important tasks, as well as bringing efficient and creative solutions to the table. Annie was a joy to work with, energetic with a positive can-do attitude.

She has a solid understanding of office culture, very strong business ethics, and is a natural team player. Annie is keen on learning new things, has great ideas, and is extremely intelligent.

Classmate

Annie has a solid background in accounting and website design. During our time in the Accounting and Payroll Diploma program at BCCE, she supported me in understanding accounting and payroll principles.

She also created and designed her own professional portfolio website, showcasing her skills and dedication. I highly recommend Annie as a punctual, reliable, and hardworking individual.

Annie had excellent attention to detail. She kept notes on small but important details, which helped her anticipate needs and reduce errors. Her administrative work, especially around shipping and logistics, was consistently accurate and thorough.

I have known Annie in the capacity of instructor at VCC and I can state that Annie has demonstrated an outstanding academic performance with excellent attendance and punctuality throughout the program. She mastered every skill she learned and completed all assignments with great attention to details and high quality.

Annie has a very positive attitude with absolute integrity and reliability. She is personable, a team-player, and has always demonstrated respect towards her classmates and instructors.
